A RANGE of Support
RANGE will help fund and support research examining gender equity issues as well as innovative development and educational programs aiming to solve them within the workplace and academia. We support all expressions of gender identity and will advocate for equal rights for all people regardless of their gender identitiy or sexual orientation. We also strive to advocate for policies both at the national and state level that support working parents and caregivers. This includes supporting men in more active caregiving roles and destigmatizing caregiving priorities previously viewed as a barrier to a successful career.
Research
Research examining gender equity issues has been ongoing, but more work needs to be done not only to better understand the evolving needs and challenges facing the workforce but also, to investigate the effectiveness of new programs and innovations designed to reduce disparities. However, these topics often face funding and publication biases that limit their reach and impact.

RANGE aims to increase knowledge and awareness of gender equity issues so that the public better understands how gender biases and stigma regarding caregiving can affect everyone.

Advocacy
RANGE will advocate for policies and laws that help families and caregivers such as paid leave, paid maternity and paternity leave, affordable and accessible childcare, and reproductive choice. We will highlight proposed laws and regulations on the state and federal level, so the public can be informed and empowered to advocate for themselves.
